FAQ

How many students will there be in the class?
25 maximum (10 student minimum)

Will students be required to wear a mask?
I can not technically require students to wear masks, but given the number of current Covid cases, I kindly request all students to wear masks during the dancing part of the class. I will be entering my 3rd trimester of pregnancy during this spring session and to keep my family and baby safe it is important to take all precautions available. I will also be checking temperatures at check in.

What is the dress code?
For classes 1-5 the dress code is come as you are. That means if you are coming straight from school, class uniform is perfectly acceptable or if you have time to go home and change feel free to dress up or down. For the last class on March 9th, please dress up in “church attire” for the final dance. I will remind parents of this the week before.

Will there be food served during class?
Yes. Donuts will be served on dining etiquette night (tentatively class 5) to help teach American vs. Continental styles of dining. Play-doh will be used in classes 2-4.

Will you be teaching any of these programs virtually or host private classes?
Not at this time

Can parents stay and watch the class?
I would prefer the classes be attended by only students as I’ve found behavior and participation changes when parents are present. I will try my best to snap a few photos during class and share them on the business Instagram page- @chasingcivility.

Is there a discount if my child attending class in the fall?
Yes, there is a $50 discount for all students who attended Manners and Mindfulness this past fall, as well as for anyone who signs up in the first two weeks. This discount will expire November 30th.

Is there a discount if I have more than one student attending class?
Absolutely. There will be a 20% discount for each additional family member enrolled in a program during the same semester.

How do I register my child?
The link to register is HERE. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due when you sign up, and the $200 remaining balance is due one week before class. Payments can be made via Venmo to @Lowcountrymanners.

What if the class fills up and my child is on the waitlist?
I will notify parents by January 26th if there are any cancellations or if spots open up before then.
