How many students will there be in the class?
15 students max (6 student minimum)

Will students be required to wear a mask?
Students will not be required to wear a mask during class unless the CDC changes the local or national guidelines between now and then.

Will there be food served during class?
Yes. Donuts will be served on dining etiquette night to help teach American vs. Continental styles of dining. If your child has any allergies please let me know on the sign-up sheet.

Will you be teaching any of these programs virtually or host private classes?
Not at this time

Can parents stay and watch the class?
I would prefer the classes be attended by only students as I’ve found behavior and participation changes when parents are present. I will try my best to snap a few photos during class and share them on the business Instagram page- @chasingcivility.

Is there a discount if I have more than one student attending class?
Absolutely. There will be a 20% discount for each additional family member enrolled in a program during the same semester.

How do I register my child?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is due when you sign up and the $200 remaining balance is due two weeks before class. Payments can be made via Venmo to @Lowcountrymanners. Sign up HERE

What if the class fills up and my child is on the waitlist?
I will notify parents by September 26th if there are any cancellations or if spots open up before then.

Do you offer classes for teens or adults?
Yes. I am putting together a weekend session in the spring for middle and high school students.

My child participated in your class last fall. Should I sign them up again?
Absolutely! The science experiments and art projects will be similar to last year, but I don’t think we can ever “over teach” social and emotional skills like these classes offer.

Dance and Dining is a new program that will be introducing students grades 1st-9th to the exciting steps of the Carolina Swing as well as teaching all about proper dining etiquette skills including how to properly set the table, host/guest responsibilities, American vs. Continental utensil use, and so much more.

Dance will be lead by Arthur, founder of Caliente Dance Studio and the dining will be instructed by Alyson, owner of Lowcountry Manners.
